Dear friends,
Mathew 18 / 1-6
Jesus discusses with his disciples, the importance of
being humble like a child, in order to enter the kingdom.
Mathew 7:21-23
Jesus warns about those of us who claim to be believers,
but do not walk in his ways. On our day of judgement, we
will have to account to a holy and righteous God for our
actions.
Dear friends,
Many people are not aware, that most of the New
Testament was written by Paul the Apostle. It is
very interesting that Paul was not always a servant
of God.
Paul despised Christians and took great delight in
having them persecuted. Paul was later to become
a very devout christian.
But Paul came to know Jesus through his failure to love
Jesus. He was on the road to Damascus, with several others
to continue the persecution of Christians, when he saw a bright
light. He fell from his horse and he heard the voice of Jesus.
He was left blind and told by Jesus , in a nutshell, he will be
told what to do. Paul was transformed from this experience.
The Book of Acts reflects these events.
YES. a person can change!
Dear friends,
Many people routinely go to church on Sundays.
Church provides a social platform and easy
answers.
But, are church goers being prepared for what
lies ahead? They speak of Rapture and End Times,
but without a full understanding of what's to come.
It is important for church goers to start studying the
Book of Revelation. This gives a clear picture
about what truly will happen. Going to church only,
is not enough, as many pastors refuse to address this
part of the Bible.
Salvation cannot be earned by money, status, race or
favor. A true relationship with Jesus Christ, Repentance
of sins and walking in God's ways is necessary.
Dear friends,
We see pictures of the last supper. We hear stories
about the last supper, but what does it mean?
The last supper is very significant in the life of every
believer.
Jesus sits with his 12 disciples to eat the Passover meal.
It is ironical. There is a negative side to what seems to be
unity among his disciples. Jesus is already aware that one
of his disciples will betray him.
However, he still shares his love with his betrayer Judas
Iscariot , who will sell him for 30 pieces of silver.
Easter is more than just an egg hunt!
Jesus has all power, following his crucifixion, he
rose again from the dead. Lord of Lord, King of
Kings.
Give thanks to the Lord for sending his son to
die for our sins. Let us treat him with respect
and live according to his will.
